It was a well known fact Irkens don't sleep.
Ever.
It was one of the things that made them the most feared race in the universe. An enemy that never sleeps.
It was NOT a well known fact (in fact, only the Tallest knew and they made sure absolutely NO ONE found out) that once, every thousand years, for one week, the moons of Irk moved into alignmen in front of the sun and affected every Irken PAK...

A Tallest's schedual was quite simple: stuff your face, check briefly on the invaders, eat more food, judge a few Irkens, pig out, check invaders, food, repeat.
All from the comfort of the Massive.
Red and Purple were currently in the 'eat more food' phase. While they snacked, they complained about one particular invader that never seemed to understand the phrase 'Leave us alone, we don't care.'
Invader Zim. The defective Irken who'd brought nothing buy chaos to the well organized Irken empire.
"He never shuts up!" Red whined, munching on something that looked vaguely like a donut. "I don't care if his plan to take over his planet with rabid bunnies failed!"
"Why can't he just drop it and move on to another plan?" Purple asked, shoving some chip-like things in his mouth.
"Because he's Zim."
"Ah." Purple stated, then yawned.
Silence. The two Tallest looked at each other, eyes wide in terror.
"When was the last Lathargy Eclipse?"Purple questioned, nibbling nervously on a 'chip'.
Red turned to the pilot of the Massive. "Quick! Send out a message to the invaders! Tell them to put all take over plans on hold and return home NOW!"
"Not Zim, though," Purple stated, grinning widely, "ignore all calls from Zim for the next week."
